Black Hole Sun

I had a dream with this song being played in it last night. This song was one of those songs that put me on to rock music when I was younger. Back when rock was still tight. I dare someone to put me up on some good current rock music…

Video is crazy, love that shit.

    Gregory X,
Santogold is “alternative” rock/electro punk to me, and that ish is the madness (thanx KC!). Also, if you havent peeped it, The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Stadium Arcadium” is a double LP and EVERY single song GOES. I’d even consider Gnarls Barkley “rock,” in many aspects and I know u love them. The Killers are tight too…not their last album so much, but the first one was the jumpoff. Remind me to burn you a cd next time I see you.

    2. Radiohead in Rainbows, I been telling you about it, you can cop it here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PT4ISWZG, you need to download RAR expander if you don’t have it on your computer, and expand the file after you download it.

    3. I might start a blog, or at least start to comment on ya’ll shit so you know I’m up on it.

Janelle Monae is kind of on that same “alternative” rock/electro tip as Santogold. She lives in the ATL and I kind of fell in love with her at one of her shows.

You gotta peep TV On The Radio, black rockers from brooklyn that go hard. I’m also feeling this band from florida called Black Kids, funny choice of name I know but the singer and keyboard player are black if that makes it any better. Bloc Party is also one of my faves. Rock out, bruh.

Janelle Monae is absolutely amazing. Big Boi discovered her and Diddy signed her right?

  5. K-Chedda Says:

Yup, and all her fans in the ATL, myself included, are really really really hoping Diddy doesn’t eff this one up.

Yea, I bought that Stadium Arcadium, but that was a couple years ago at this point, ya’ll are both right, I guess I was kinda nostalgic for that kind of rock out head banging stuff that i was never into until it was too late.

I gotta get up on all the people ya’ll just named.
